Born in 1981, Guillaume is a French visual artist based in Geneva (CH).
He started drawing and painting in an atelier at the age of 13. He went on to study art history at the University of Virginia, where he focused a large part of his coursework on 19th century neo-classicism.
Self-taught in photography, he picked up his first analog camera while in college, and quickly began experimenting with B&W processing and working for a local newspaper. Eventually, he embarked in a career in business, before rekindling with the photographic medium in 2020.
His approach to photography revolves around portraiture, intentional camera movements and experimenting with alternative printing techniques.
